haha well luckily for me, i was just using that situation as an example. i dont have any solid playing time promises so i guess i dont have to worry about it yet.

What happens if you break the promise? Does it affect recruiting in following years, does your player transfer? What are the penalties?

I've got a 94 ovr senior SS starting over my 5* recruit. He came in at 80 ovr and he's 2nd on the depth chart. Obviously I'm gonna start the 94 ovr guy.

not sure about this years game but in previous years the player would transfer most of the time.

If u didn't make any promises to the 5* recruit, he has no leg to stand on..But im sure there will be ramifications if u do break your promises as far as future recruiting goes

the problem with not playing someone you give the pitch of "no redshirt first year on campus" is if you don't play him at all and he accumulates zero stats the game automatically redshirts him so be aware
