Oregon is also not a traditional power. They've only risen to prominence very recently.

And Notre Dame may have used to wear green primarily, but the school colors are blue and gold, and most people associate them with blue and gold rather than green.

Re: There any traditional football powers with green colors?

Hmm... a complete list of schools that use any amount of green, conference by conference:

ACC: Miami

Big 12: Baylor

Big East: South Florida

Big Ten: Michigan State

C-USA: Marshall, Tulane

Independents: I guess we're counting Notre Dame... I wouldn't really count them though...

MAC: Ohio, Eastern Michigan

MWC: Colorado State

Pac-12: Oregon

SEC: None, since they're all powerhouse programs, obviously. (Although, Florida's logo is very green.)

Sun Belt: North Texas

WAC: Hawai'i

Am I missing any?

I'd say the most popular color among the top programs in college football is, in this order: Red, Blue, Orange.

In the NFL, blue is easily the most popular color for the annual powerhouses.

ND's and Hawaii are my two fave green jerseys. I do like the dark green in Oregon's traditional helmet.
