What makes this the best football game?

Im thinking about grabbing it to do a Road to Glory player but Ive NEVER touched a NCAA game before and rarely watch NCAA football.. But this year i might check it out..


What makes this game shine and would make me want to buy it?

pretty solid graphics, above average dynasty mode(much room for improvement), havent tried RtG myself yet, although i hear its pretty good.

Basically, it was very bad, but its getting better. Ive played it since 03 on ps2, started on ps3 in 09 and this is by far the best one, imo.

It's not the best NCAA. None of the next gen titles can be considered that. It's a solid title depending on what your into. The gameplay is solid but some people have issues with deep balls /lbs and CBs (some can be helped with sliders).

Graphics range from good to decent, not the best this generation but not horrible. Sometimes players and the game looks cartoonish and sometimes it looks beautiful.

Dynasty mode is fairly addictive, but besides the CC (both of them) it's generally unchanged. Not to mention the CC is really just a glorified random team selector. Hopefully next year they expand on it and make it great. It has potential to be amazing if they work on it.

Road to Glory is decent, it is better than previous current generation editions, but I doubt I'll finish one career with a player much like any other version. Now your player can actually get better during the season so you don't have to sign to a school with a top ranked HB so your player is great. Because of this, progression can get messed up though, I had a 5* QB turn into a 97 OVR at Utah in my freshman year by Week 11. It's improved but it's not as good as it could be. HS season is fun for a little bit but it really ends up just feeling like the previous editions of RTG which were barebones and boring, it's cool at first but it's nothing huge.

Is it worth a buy if your college football fan? Easily.

If your a casual gamer or if your just a casual football fan you may want to wait for Madden at the end of the month.

If you rarely watch college football, I wouldnt get it. If I was in your situation, I would probably wait for madden or pass on both and wait for next year.

this game is perfect for you TC, the less you know/love about college football the better...

its a very good game if you are casual fan....
