I think I got a solution to the freeze at the PLEASE WAIT screen

It finally went through late last night. I had a few roster files and tried different one, but finally the Fairdale Kings roster worked. I can't tell you how many times it took before the rosters were validated, but at least it finally worked.

Is this just an Xbox issue? I'm online when i start the game on my PS3 and ive never had it freeze at the start screen.

Same here. Been signed on every time I play it except when I was testing no-patch. Had a single freeze day one when I was getting out of dynasty and haven't seen it since.

To avoid freezing at the PLEASE WAIT screen, just sign out of your gamertag before you start up NCAA. Start the game, and when it asks you to pick your favorite team, just sign into your gamertag. A friend of mine told me about this, and ever since I've done this, I have never once froze at that screen anymore.

I tried this and it's telling me that my online pass code was already redeemed and I have to purchase the online pass. I deleted the online pass file and now it's not accepting my original code. Any ideas?

You have to re-download the online pass -- Goto Account Management --Download History --then select NCAA Football 12 Online Pass to download again.

Thanks! I was trying to input the code when the game loads up instead of going thru the dashboard. Online pass is all good, but freezing is still there. Anytime I try to load a game with a custom playbook it will freeze but if I use default play books it will load. At least I won't have to worry about freezing after I snap the disc in two. Frustrated.
