Depth Chart Re-Ordering in NCAA 12

I'm trying to get a sense of how NCAA 12 is different from last year's version. I dont wanna buy it if it has many of the same issues from last year, most notably the depth chart re-ordering issue and the formation packaging issue with the right stick.

Last year's game, whenever u re-ordered the depth chart, it would simply rank the players by overall rating instead of inserting the correct position players and ranking them separately. Has that changed?

And I've already heard the right stick formation sub thing is still wonked but if anyone has a workaround for it, I'm open to suggestions.

Yes the depth chart thing is the same as always. I just don't see how that's a deal breaker though. To each his own I guess.

Yes, the game only checks the overall and not the position.

A fix would be that a player cannot be put at a position out of his position. Or atleast have to be lower on the "new" position that they are on their actual postition, as well as not be a starter.

It's a deal breaker because I'm casual with my dynasty, I dont micro manage the program. The only thing I try to look out for is if there's a really good freshman whose rated the same as a redshirt senior, so I move him up so he can play. It's also annoying because this wasn't an issue in previous versions. I mean, come on, these devs are educated programmers, we're talking about simple sorting functions here. Not gameplay algorithms which coordinate blocking schemes and route running.

It would be one thing if there never was a depth chart ordering function and I had been manually ordering my depth chart since NCAA 05, but that's not case.

Also, it seems the formation package stick is still funky and I relied heavily on that in years past for both offense and defense. Now it's hit or miss if I can get to my packages.
