Spoiler

LSU lost to Auburn (SEC Champs) and to Kentucky/Washington (both were under .500) Yet they still somehow made the championship game over 1-2 loss teams.
When did they and the other teams lose? If LSU lost early and the other teams lost late, that could've let LSU jump up over them late in the season.

Re: Weird BCS/Top 25 Rankings?

Into week 9 in the first year of my Nebraska dynasty. Currently in the Top 25 there are no 1 loss teams ranked ahead of undefeated teams (currently 5: Bama, Stanford, OU, Notre Dame, and Boise State). There are a few 2 loss teams ranked ahead of 1 loss teams. But that happens (A 2 loss Oregon is ranked ahead of a 1 loss Texas and a 2 loss Auburn is ahead of a 1 loss Arizona) There are no teams in the BCS Top 25 who have 3 losses.

All that seems pretty logical to me. Do you have custom conferences? Have you altered the conferences in any way? Maybe the rankings get messed up if you're a lower prestige team? Just throwing out ideas.

The losses to Kentucky/Washington were in the first 5 weeks. I think Auburn lost the week after the LSU game....Week 9 or 10 maybe?

I don't remember about the rest of them, didn't really look at it too closely.

Bowling Green is 12-0 in the MAC and #2 in the BCS, ahead of 11-1 Oklahoma and Alabama -_-

I've went undefeated in a season and every week I'll go from like #1 to like #3 and back to #1 EVERY week.

Re: Weird BCS/Top 25 Rankings?

Well I started a thread about this very same topic, but it was promptly closed by the mods. So I'll just paste it here lol.

So I'm in a pretty competitive OD and we just had the craziest poll logic problem/glitch ever lol. The user that was Oklahoma finished 11-1, but was just jumped in the polls by the user that's Alabama. The thing is, Alabama finished 10-2 AND one of those losses was to that Oklahoma team lol. So not only did Oklahoma have a better record than Bama, they won in the head to head matchup, but bama still jumped them lol. This stuff is too funny sometimes lol.
