NO 1st down markers!!! No measurements!!!

This is such a non-issue for me. Would be be nice for realism? Sure, but does it ruin the game? Not even close.

The fact is, when I've seen it in a game after a few times I'm hitting the button to skip it, so really, I don't care all that much.

I would like it if they at least had the marker on the sidelines so you could see where it was in the replays.

Yeah. There was a Madden that had an animation for measuring first downs. After like the 5th time I saw it, I would sit there and be like "come onnnnnn" waiting for it to happen.

Especially because you could tell by the camera angle if it was going to be a first down or not, so there was 0 suspense involved

Eh, I could care less. I would love EA to get solid gameplay and fluid animations and when they get that done then they can worry about little things like that but even then I wouldn't care.

But than again I am not a guy who needs or cares every little detail like dreads, chain gangs, etc. I just want a solid game of football on the field. I think it's almost there but needs better OL/DL and CB/WR interaction along with better animations and then I would be in love with this game. But that is just me.

If I want every little detail right I will watch the NFL or CFB.

its the small things that make us fall in love with games! youre one of the reasons that the game has taken a step back!

Yes and no. Yes, I would like it for the sake of realism and immersion (love games that have all of the 'little things' nailed), but it's not a huge deal to me as like others have said, I would wind up skipping the cutscene anyway, unless it's a close game in the 4th quarter.
