This made me laugh but I have to disagree. Who would ever skip over a measurement movie especially if the game is riding on the spot of the ball? There is a lot of suspense that comes along with first down measurements that this game has sorely missed for TOO long.

I'm gonna tell a story for the young cats in this forum. I remember years ago playing NCAA on Sega Genesis can't remember the year had to be early to mid 90's. I was playing with the U and my friend, a very good player I might add, was playing with Nebraska. He was much better than I was running the ball all over me but I had Miami in the game slinging the ball everywhere. Long story short I make a score to go ahead and my friend is driving down the field. He gets down into my territory and amazingly I stop him cold on a 3rd and 3. The sticks come out and I kid you not the suspense of that moment which only lasted a few seconds was unreal. He comes up a ball tip short and I lose my mind convulsing all over the room and he's in shock. Amazing day one of my best vid game memories, and this was mid 90's action ppl. It would take no effort at all to add measurements to our current college game hell the chains are already in Madden.

Don't tell me having this feature in the game would not make it more interesting and enjoyable because I have lived it. Sorry for the drama but man this thread brought back some amazing memories.

Thats funny, so because I wanthe actual game to play better I am a reason the game has taken a step back? Really funny, I never said they shouldn't add things like that but Gameplay and getting all the modes to work properly is what I want first.

Maybe small details make certain people love the game but I prefer a better game of football on field first and to be honest I never noticed that there was no chain gang until this thread. But whatever you think is your opinion and mine is mine.

Them coming out for measurements every time it was close would be annoying as hell though.

I don't care about the cutscenes for whether or not you make it, but it kills me not to see them on the sidelines. Plus there's the whole "chains moving" during a no huddle offense thing that basically gives you a free timeout every first down during a hurry up.
