The corner is chasing the wide receiver down field, but, somehow, as soon as I go to throw the ball the corner is automatically aware, and turns around to cover the receiver in the flat.

I guess that's difficulty but honestly it's ridiculous, disgusting and completely uncalled for!!!

improved zone defense: CPU controlled players are now psychic

EA is incapable of creating a realistic football game, so this is the best they can do - along with LBs that stop on a dime bat passes down like it's volleyball

Psychic abilities aside, it looks to me like he threw the pass too early...had he waited another second or two that DB would have been down field and that's a completion for a gain.

If he waits, the QB will probably throw it over his head out of bounds (depending on the sliders used), or the WR will catch it but ignore trying to stay in bounds and turn up field.

Don't blame it on the improved zone defense. Psychic defensive backs have ALWAYS been in the game.
