If you turn coach contracts off?

I think if its not on, then it goes back to the way it was in previous NCAA games. which was impossible to get fired.

I was hoping so.

I started a new OD tonight in anticipation for the patch and this time left contracts off.

While the contract stability scale is now gone, it still said year 1 of 2 in my contract.

If you really want to make sure, sim a couple of seasons without recruiting at all and turn off all the CPU recruiting assistance. If being fired is possible, you will be within 2 years.

This is incorrect, if you did poorly in previous years you could be fired. I have no idea about this year but I remember on more than one occasion I started a Vandy dynasty on my regular settings only to be demolished 2 straight seasons and get the boot. In previous years, you could claim the coaching job of any team that was currently ranked below yours.

only played one game into my new dynasty with contracts off, however if being fired Is still an option, perhaps i'll restart and take advantage of all the game options that relate to contracts being on.

I just simmed an entire season with Texas and finished 3-9. I was fired at the end of the year.
