EA folks have said the LS controls have an impact on catching animations by WR, so having your LS sensitivity at max (100%) should give you access to all catching animations available.

Second is the LT (called Placebo) that some have noted as having an impact on these specific routes and making more WR aggressive catching animations play out.

So you have the two means by which many on both sides have said/noted as an answer to your OP.

If you need more info, do a search for a thread about the LT.
It was discussed in length with Vid's to support from both sides.
Your math is unnecessary, like I said in my post I'm doing everything I can including having the LS at max the receiver still won't go and get it.

Just threw a pick six on the fade, QB radically underthrew it. Tough play.

Receivers won't fight for the ball on here, in past games as well as in real the receivers fight for the ball especially if it's underthrown.

Re: how to throw a fade??

I get many TDs from the fade. It helps that my #1 WR is 6-5 with 97 jmp rating

Something I don't think anyone has mentioned -- defense needs to be in man. I would advise against throwing the fade into a zone

Was just trying to help,

Just how I talk on here my friend, but since your replies seem to have some tension in the, I'll back out and suggest what "ALL" Mods and others would say.

Use the Search because the subject has been discussed in length.

Re: how to throw a fade??

I read another post on here about throwing with while holding the L2 button while throwing. It seems to work for me but I rarely throw the Fade unless I have a 6'5" receiver and do it myself.

Re: how to throw a fade??

I have a 6'8" 91 speed tight end who I split out for a fade inside the 10 from time to time. He's caught a couple, ironically when I rifled it at him. Most of the time he just tries to do the running away from the catch animations while the 5'10" DB jumps up.

The times I rifled it at him, he stopped and went up for it and got it before the DB even had a chance. Almost like a back shoulder fade. Unfortunately, I can't consistently get that pass to be accurate with Taylor Martinez at QB and it can get picked and returned as easily as it can be caught.

I just don't call fades any more, which is unfortunate.

Re: how to throw a fade??

I throw fades to my WR's with no problem. Just wait a little longer and the WR will turn around and it will be a jump ball situation. Easy

p.s. lob the ball
