I wouldn't say that 95% of the plays are ineffective. However I do think there are way too many plays that aren't effective enough (most out routes for example)....or are too effective (Fly patterns by TE and Slot Rec).

And yes, experience and practice should open up the playbook a little bit, but that won't help the CPU offense. It is hard to get excited about beating a CPU team that should be good, but is inept because it runs the option, or continually runs sweeps out of shot-gun.

I disagree, this has been the best year in play diversity, and there are tons of plays that work. Play action is still kind of meh, I agree. The PA play from Shotgun Tight is a broken money play versus the toughest sliders/AI, that will get you 25+ yards every time. Play action still needs some work, but it isn't bad versus CPU/players that don't use an aggressive d-line setting(game planning is the real culprit to many problems IMO.

I've struggled using PA effectively, but if I audible a run into a PA play, the defense bites on it, and I can easily get a quick pass out to my TE if a WR hasn't broke loose.

My reluctance to run PA isn't so much for the chance that the Defense won't bite, but that they will blitz and tackle my QB before he even gets out of the animation. It is one thing for the play to break down, but at least give me the chance to dump it off, or throw it away....or scramble back to the LOS.

The passing game is really hurt this year by the linebackers. Basically you have to find an angle, which isn't like real life where you see Qb's lob it over defenders all the time. oh well.

u must need to work on pre snap reads, i dont have this problem, i like to brag about how i only the same play tops, 3 times a game...TOPS, and those are usually RUN plays that i repeat the most

I love PA in this game, It keeps defense off balanced. but i do hated when a receiver is open and the ball hits him upside the head
