This may not be a good idea, but it seems reasonable to me and I'm curious how other respond to it.

Well, we all know NCAA 2004 is the shizzle(yes, I said it). And I think a lot of us can agree that there aren't many things that can be improved without drastic changes(even those I really can't think of). But here's my idea: EA should skip the making of NCAA 2005 and concentrate on 2006. That way, they can make some large improvements(like added SI articles, more in depth scouting reports and recruiting, at least 65 man rosters, stuff like that) so that 2006 can be the best game ever. I know it may not be a great idea on a financial stand point, but if EA are as big as they claim, then it shouldn't faze the company too much. I think most people would be alright playing 2004 for an extra year(I know I would). But just incase the rosters are a must have, EA can put out some sort of roster update in disk form for all 3 systems in a magazine or at the video game stores like EB or something like that.

Well, that's my idea... bash away!

While your idea is on the right track, I dont think it would make a difference. If they waited an extra year I highly doubt they would focus any more on the game. A year is a long time and plenty of time to implement the things you talked about IMHO. If they are that big they should have no problem with it. I'm sure they could as long as they could see it benefiting them.

They would go more for something like: We agree to pay 75 dollars for the game if they add all the stuff we want. Its all about the money and money talks with EA.

They won't the same amount money = EA won't do it. All video game companies are all about $$$.

There won't be a version in 2005 xor 2006 when the new consoles come out. They will just make madden.

For real... any talk of not making this game for a year is borderline blasphemy... Do not upset the football gods in this manner ever again...
