Have you guys noticed that this is only available on Varsity and Freshman level? I just figured it out today.

Re: WR Strafe Button?

really? I kept wondering what the heck ppl were talking about when they said they strafe with WRs. This really opens my understanding up but leaves me with more Q's as to why it's not on AA n Heisman. Because that's all I play on...time to try new things I guess.

Re: WR Strafe Button?

Interesting, I tried to cover a receiver and was pressing left/right triggers on AA and it did nothing. Is this supposed to make it more realistic? Seems to give the CPU the upper hand.

Re: WR Strafe Button?

The ability to WR strafe was taken out of the higher difficulty levels because of players "rocket catching" online on last year's version, but I noticed today that on varsity it still works.

I've decided to play on varsity with sliders heavily favoring the CPU. I hate not being able to strafe and square up for a jump ball on AA.

Yes this is true and it gives an unfair advantage to the defense.
