Strange recruting

Sorry if there was a ton of this already posted about I did a quick search and didn't see anything.
Ok I desided I wanted to sim my dynasty so I sim throught the whole season until cuting players. I like to manage the players in my sim. Anyway my second year I didn;t have to cut any people because i only had 69 of the allowed 70 players. Well I sim that season and I got to the cutting of players again and this time I had 19 players over the 70 limit. I thought it strange so I was going throw cutting who I had to and I got to the kickers section and I still had close to 10 players to cut. Well it turned out that the cpu recrutied and signed 9 kickers. I had 9 freshman kickers. I have never seen that before. I mean why would it recruit that many kickers? I mean out of all the players to over recruit why kickers!

Thats what I get for letting the cpu recruit for me lol. Although I did get some good rectuits but 9 kickers is crazy.

Isnt there an option where you can the importance and type of each position recruited?

maybe but i think its for the hc I am just the oc on the sim right now
