i never invite recruits to games vs FCS teams. But this brings up a question, does the game you invite them to actually matter. Lets say you're Notre Dame and you're playing against Michigan and the recruit is pretty much down to 2 schools, Notre Dame and Michigan. You invite the recruit to the ND-UM. If you beat Michigan does that make him higher on ND and lower on UM? Or if UM wins is he higher on UM than ND. I know the activities you choose for the visit are essential to their visit but is that the only thing that matters or does the outcome of the game and who they're playing have any impact?

not really sure it matters, to be honest. I've had recruits still commit to the school I beat right after I beat them, even though we were tied or close to being tied.

As for your situation I don't think there's a difference. But it definitely matters which game you invite them to. Rivalry games usually get an A to an A+ rating if you win and conference games are the second best to invite them to.

I think it goes, Rivalry > Conference > Televised > OOC

The individual opponent does not matter. You won't see a postive / negative effect there.
