Re: Tallest player you've ever recruited?

I had a 6-9 guy with 99 speed once. I think it was on the 09 game in my OD. I was at Clemson and he caught over 100 balls that season. Blazing fast but his overall wasn't the highest so I keep him 3rd on the depth chart. He got pissed an transfered to Purdue and my friends said he would torch them like they had never seen from a computer player. I don't remember his first name, but I want to say it was like Mike Tripplet. I also had a 6-8 guy will 99 speed on the 08 game. I hated that game but I did a dynasty will my friends, so I made a mockery of the game by throwing for like 6000 yards to him. Just streak bombs all day.

96 speed, 97 accel, 99 agility, 82 catch, 80 man cover, 80 zone, 70 block shed, 75 carrying, 70 jump, 70 elusiveness, 75 break tackle, 70 hit power. Pretty good across the board. Best thing is I was able to get him late in recruiting, just trying to fill my class.

Re: Tallest player you've ever recruited?

I just recruiting a 3-star ATH [6-8, 235]

His speed you ask? 96

His only two positions he was rated decent at were HB & WR

HB: 68
WR: 66

I put him at WR due to his size not being feasible for a running back. There is a good chance I just redshirt him this year due to solid depth at WR.

All I know is that next year I will have a beastly WR duo if he progresses to the low 70s...

WR #1- 6'4, 212 with mid 90s speed
WR #2- 6'8, 235 with 96 or 97 speed based on progression

Sounds amazing!

EDIT: FYI he was a 40 rated TE...which is lame!

A 6'8, 233 TE. Sadly he is mainly a blocker.

It is a shame that WR/TE's don't truly make an effort to go after the ball in the game, because considering all the mismatches in height, he should have had an easy time jumping over 5'9, 5'11 corners (he had like an 88 vertical) but oh well...

Re: Tallest player you've ever recruited?

I went after a 6'7" QB.
I think he was balanced, but decided not to sign him after I got the two QBs I really wanted.

I've seen a lot of tall WRs and TEs, 6'7" 6'8", I created a WR that was like 7' tall, but forgot to up any of his stats, so he was a 1 star recruit, with D- at every attribute. Didn't bother to recruit him, he'll probably get a basketball scholarship somewhere.

I also created a 6'9" TE that I set up to be a pass catcher, but they say he's a blocker, so I don't know what happened there. I thought I was setting up a senior in high school, but I guess he's a JUCO senior, and only three stars so I don't know what I'll have with him yet, he signed with me on my first call.

I actually just got a 6'7 210 (must be a bean pole) WR with A speed A- acceleration B hands and B+ jump quiet easily one of the best I've seen thus far.

No one in my dynasty got this guy but this had to be the weirdest rb ever. 6'5 236 4.36 40 B+ for acceleration and agility. He ended up signing with Michigan St.

Re: Tallest player you've ever recruited?

I managaed to steal a 4*, 6'7", 4.3 40 WR in my second year when i was still just a one star school. He has been just tearing defenses up now that he has progressed
