How to delete patch

How do you delete patch #2? When I go under Settings, then File Management I see a Tuning section, is that it? Is this the same thing as the patch?

no. you can't delete game updates/patches from within the game. on 360, you just need to clear the cache on the hard drive.

I believe the only way to delete patches removes all patches for all of your games, and you can't participate in online matches unless you install the latest patch.

To do this, you have to go to:

1. Go to your hard drive settings
2. Press Y to go to "Device Options"
3. Press XX(LB)(RB)XX to do a hard drive maintenance

This will remove all patches for all of your games

Edit: I don't know how to do this for PS3

you don't have to do all that now. Just go to System settings > Memory, then press "Y" on your hard drive to get to device option and choose clear system cache from that menu. the button combo thing was taken out a few system updates ago.

also, on 360, game updates are temporary anyway. it'll only keep a few updates at a time.

Yeah this would be for PS3, sorry I didn't specify. I'm going to reinstall them, but I saw someone put up a theory on deleting the patch #2, the reinstall it, and see if it fixes the tendencies on recruits.

for PS3, I think you delete it using "Game Data Utility", but I don't have a PS3 in front of me to try it.

That's what I was thinking, but I only see a tuning update, so I wonder if all updates get wrapped in one file? I'm positive I would have had to downloaded the patches, b/c my original tendencies got fixed.
