I run a lot of 5-2 on first and second down and third and short or medium. If someone keeps thrown crossing routes then I swap to a 3-3-5 and 3rd and 4th and long I run a dime. But 5-2 is becoming my base.

I'm a 3-4 guy, if the team doesn't have the personnel I like for the 3-4 I will run a 4-3 for a couple seasons until I can get the guys I want in there.

I like speedy pass rushing olb's who can cover. For the ILB's I like Run stuffers with coverage ability(i really strong zone guys).

For the D-lineman I lean more towards run stuffers but I'm not as picky here.

I'm currently still looking for the perfect defense, i play 4-3 in the meantime.

I run a nickel and dime defense with a 4-4 base. Its great for those teams that try to beat you through the air.

The perfect defense IMO is the one you understand best. I worked with a high school football team that ran a 4-3 and a 4-4 hybrid, but I understand 3-3-5 and 4-2-5 best.

Definitely a 3-3-5 guy, but I'll run some Dime in long distance situations, such as 3rd and 15...guess you guys could already tell which defense i ran by my pic though, LETS GOOO MOUNTAINEERS!

4-3, but if my D-Line is fast (like Barekevious Mingo) then I'll go to a 3-4.
