do blue chip recruits often get to be 99s and such?

I was wondering because the longest i stayed with my dynasty is 2.5 yrs. The question is do freshmen that are rated 77-85 (highest ive ever gotten) get to be 96-99s by their senior year without redshirting? Or do you think they will definitly be a 99 come senior/junior yr if redshirted?

Because improvement is directly related to team prestige, the 5 to 6-star prestige level teams' players improve more than the lower teams. It's not uncommon at all to see quite a few 99-rated players on the big programs after the second or third dynasty seasons, but especially after the third or fourth seasons.

It depends on their potential rating that you can't see..... for the most part, after years 2 and 3 when you see a ton of 99s, it levels off to a reasonable number of highly rated players. They are even borderline uninspiring in years 4 and 5 when some of the default true freshmen are still there along with some of the default RS freshmen.

I'd say after year 5, you'd see no more than 4 or 5 99s.

Sports Game Lover is right, too, I made a CB who went to UF; he progressed 7 points and a speed point.

I made a CB that same year who went to North Texas; he had 4 picks and he had potential according to the scouting reports and he went up only 2.

They usually get pretty high up their if they stick around long enough.
