Air Raid, Spread Option, Multiple, or Power..what would you choose?

My dad is making his return to CFB games, now I can not speak for him completly but I can say that he is an old school kinda guy. His favorite team is the Redskins bc of John Riggins and the Hogs, that being said hes struggling on deciding what offense to impliment in his OC coaching dynasty. We're in a joint dynasty, me being WKU running a Meyer type spread option I call a "Power Spread."

Last year he went through a spread kick in play now games but didnt get a handle on it, he has seen me use it and while he understands it IRL he cant get it running at the high octain pace I can. Hes coached before and he used a wishbone style offense mixed with some power philosiphies.

Like I said earlier Im using WKU and had to recruit the players needed to get my system rolling, he chose Colorado State just because the helmets are cool and we've never used them in either of our long history playing NCAA games. So whatever offense he chooses hes going to have to set a foundation and build upon it. Right now hes using the Multiple playbook, but kinda feels like its to scattered and wants more a a true "philosophy" to build upon. just looking for everyones opinions and advice when building the type of offense you would choose if you were him.

If he's "old school" and likes the Redskins (I'm sorry), then he's probably best just running the ol' West Coast.

If he is Old school, then just use Power Formations, and run it down the other teams throat all season.

He could make a custom playbook with different formation and lots of different plays. That way he could start to find out what he likes and what works for his team. He could always change it as he goes along taking away plays and formations he does not like, and adding different ones.

I'm sure I'm closer to your Dad's age than most around here, so here's my two cents:

If you want to run a pro style offence, play Madden...

If you're playing NCAA, the Air Raid is well depicted in the title and unique to this game...

It's West Cost, with some Run and Shoot, so he might get into it (SMU / OK State / LA Tech all have nice books)...

If you really want to run...master the option...once again unique to this title, not that well implemented, but fun and different...

Anyway...that's what this old guy would do!

Multiple, to me, is the answer. Mine is LSU mixed with Miss St and some pistol formations that are pro.
