I am about 7-8 years into my Dynasty (started as an OC for UNCP then got the HC job at App. St.) and have performed well on both sides of the ball. I am seeing a number of OCs and DCs who's teams have not done well get offers for HC jobs or Coordinator jobs at more prestigious schools. I was wondering if the computer ever offers jobs to your assistants?

In one of my ODs, the DC of one of the other users left to become the Head Coach of I think Penn State after year 1.

As UCLA I made Randy Shannon as my defensive coordinator and he left for Penn State.

Where is Randy Shannon for real and how do you make someone a your defensive coordinator? You can not offer the DC more money to stay?

I'm assuming he changed the name, appearance and info of UCLA's current DC to Shannon. And there is no way to convince coaches to stay it's all automated.

To answer the OP, my TB squad's OC left after the first year to coach Bowling Green; a couple years and a conference championship later his prestige is higher than mine.

Your OC and DC don't matter, so no need to offer more cash.

Happens to me all the time, which is awesome. I kinda get my own coaching "tree" going.

After first year at Washington State (4th dynasty season overall):
OC - became head coach at Houston
DC - became head coach at USC

After second year at Washington State (5th dynasty season overall):
OC - became head coach at Haskell Indian Nations (CAT)

My second season at Ohio State saw us win the BCS Title and my OC went to Michigan... Yeah... lol.
