Re: BCS Rankings...

The rankings don't make much sense but normally I'm rather confused by real BCS rankings when its all broken down lol. So trying to figure out why EA's are out there is impossible for me.

I guess because Georgia only lost to the #2 and #3 team, while LSU lost to the #19 and #3 team that somehow allows UGA to be ranked over them? And because Florida lost to an unranked [or #14?] SC they some way or another drop below the #2 [at the time] team they've beat as well. Lol. I don't know, doesn't make any sense to me.

Re: BCS Rankings...

Time of losses matters also.

A #3 that is 10-2 will almost always jump a 11-0 #1 that loses a game, regardless of score. Not ALWAYS, but almost always.

Re: BCS Rankings...

This actually looks pretty reasonable. Unfortunately I have seen much worse in the game. One year Alabama went 9-3, while South Carolina went 11-1 in the SEC. 2 of Bama's 3 losses were to bad (losing record teams), while SC's only loss was to a top 10 team. Also 11-1 Oklahoma crushed a tough Big 12. SC even won the SEC championship game, while Bama didn't even win their division. Both SC and OU were snubbed, and Bama crushed some Mountain West team in the NC game.

That rarely happens for me.
I manage to keep the non-AQ's from doing that using coordinators to give them non-cupcake (usually at least C-) schedules, but in most years I have at least 1 team make bowl season undefeated. This year Kansas and Boise State (2014) both lost their conference championship games, meaning no undefeated teams. Michigan (11-2) managed to wiggle their way into the BCS title game with a win over #5 Ohio State and then a win over #7 Rutgers, leaving #3 TCU (12-1), #4 Arkansas (11-1), and #5 Kansas (12-1) out in the cold.

I do like how when teams are at 1 and 2 losses it's more realistic, a 2 loss Alabama would almost always be ranked above a 1 loss Boise (stupid, but it's realistic).
