Recruiting question

Not really a big deal but im just curious... whats up with all the good DTs and DEs being white?

also, on the next game u should be able to recruit players based on scheme... like some guys will be a DE in a 4-3 defense but a OLB in a 3-4 defense... you should be able to choose how u want to recruit them without having to change their position later.

Re: Recruiting question

Don't even notice that type of thing regarding your 1st comment. Does this, or if it's the reverse at other positions, really matter? Don't mean for that to come off as critical of you, either. It's not, nor is it my place to criticize anyone's opinion . I simply haven't looked at that situation.

GREAT idea with your 2nd comment. Happens with maybe even 25% of my recruiting board 'annually.' Maybe add 1 more step into the "add to my recruiting board" process allowing you to scroll through positions to label him as for your intentions. Might help add a layer of clarity with one problem I've seen posted in other threads -- maybe a SS with Early Playing Time high on his ratings grading you low b/c of your two returning SSs, but you plan on moving him to OLB where he'd get that Early PT. I think for this to work, though, they'd (EA) have to implement more coding for the recruit to 'see' that w/ his OVR the chances of him getting early PT are high (think: the Early PT WR recruit who downgrades you in that area b/c you have 5 returners, but all or most are of lower OVR so if he committed, he'd actually stroll right into a starting role).

Would like to see your idea here get some play from returning post-ers.

I think this code already exists. I was losing my top 3 WR's, leaving 3 still on the roster not highly rated. I was recruiting a few 4*'s and 3*'s, all with a D in early playing time. However, I started recruiting a 5* and he had A+ in early playing time. I got him and two of the 4*'s and the 5* came in higher rated than my returning WR's, but not the 4*'s.

Re: Recruiting question

I think it grades early playing time by Im guessing what the overall of a player will be. Ive recruited for example 2 players same position same star rating and one will have my school rating high for early playing time but the other at same position will have yield a lower school rating
