Need help stopping the goaline offense

As the title states, I need help stopping the goaline offense. Specifically, the run. In my dynasty, I play an opponent that runs using goaline formation all the time. I can stop his passing game so he relies on the goaline formation. Each time he runs it he gets about 3 to 4 yards a pop...and chews up the clock.

I've tried goaline defense but it doesn't work for me. Does anyone have any ideas or tips?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Re: Need help stopping the goaline offense

Yeah, get out of that dynasty or have the commish outlaw it. We had to get rid of all goal line packages (regular GL, Wishbone Tight, Flexbone Tight, Maryland I Tight, Power I Heavy) between the 20's. There just aren't defenses in the game to stop it.

As backwards crazy as it sounds, 1-5-5 Prowl actually has the most potential to stop the power run. Run some of the stunt blitzes out of that and since 10 defenders are off the line, the OL has to search for the blocks and usually one or two defenders can blow a play up. The fact that this defense works against a goal line set shows how insane EA is, but it really is the best option.

Set strip to aggressive. Blitz with the LBs, since they don't need to defend the pass.

Use the 1-5-5 formation in Nickel and blitz everyone. That usually works for me.
