That's nice, I suppose, but EA needs to ramp up the atmosphere of big games AS the game is being played.

The crowd needs to be festive and loud. The commentators need to be *aware* that it's Texas vs Oklahoma and not Texas Southern vs Oklahoma Tech.

More cutscenes isn't really addressing anything if the other stuff is still dead.

And to be clear olemiss86, I'm not coming at you or anything. I just wanted to emphasize that while I do like cut scene trophy presentations, I don't think that is the fix to the problem that the OP and others have with big game atmospheres. I don't even think trophy presentations would be a step towards correcting the actual problem.

Something I think that would help with this is having different broadcasting teams.
Example, lowest level games have a radio style or ESPNU
Mid tier has local TV style, ESPN2 (with generic announcers).
Highest Tier has ESPN, ABC (with guys like Brad, Herbie etc).
That way you get some variety, plus when you hear Brad and Herbie commentating for your game, you know its a big one, where if you hear Joe and Jack, it must not be a national spotlight game.

Yes! Aside from the gameplay issues is the actual in-game atmosphere. Im not talking about cutscenes.

Im tired of hearing bands that sound recorded instead of sounding like a live band.

Im tired of the bands automatacally stops playing when you snap the ball.

Theres hundreds of songs that college bands play, why does every single team on this game play the same songs. Every team should be unique.

Let the commentators get into the game weather its a rivalry game or a 1* school bout to upset a 5* school. I want to feel this emotion and tension for big games. Bring in story lines, use ESPN to hype up the games.

Its 2012, yet NCAA is still bare bones with flawed game-play.

And that's why until a good portion of the regular fans skip a year this won't be fixed. If sales will drop off 25-33% from last year it will send the correct message that we think they need to fix the game for a year and stop adding crap!

Hopefully this will be the year...but so many are getting caught up in the hype train that is EA. Sad really.

I didn't play 12, thankfully. Did they at least fix where the fans sit at the RRS? Last time I played they had texass fans by the tunnel when ut was home lol. Shame, too. RRS is the coolest game in all of sports. It deserves better!

I don't see the problem. They are completely overhauling presentation and commentary this year?

Dont believe the Hype Brother. The improvements to me IMO, is more of a patch than an overhaul.
