_____The Kansas State offense revolved around the running game in 2010, finishing second in the Big 12 and 22nd in the nation in rushing. The passing attack finished 92nd in the nation in passing, they averaged only 179 passing yards per game—a stat that is laughable in Big 12 territory. This season, the Wildcats must get more production from their quarterback position.
_____Kansas State's Head Coach DaaVeed LooEece has decided Collin Klein will be at the helm, "I feel like Collin gives us the best chance to win, he can do it with both his feet and his arm, I truly believe he is one of the best players in the nation."
_____Wide receiver Chris Harper, a 6’1” and 225 pound junior, is a former Oregon Duck who transferred to Kansas State two years ago will be Klein's number one target. Transfer Bryce Brown gained 460 yards on as a true freshman at Tennessee and will likely be the main ball carrier for KSU this year.
_____The Wildcats defense is still atrocious, struggling against both the run and the pass. They have seven starters returning from last season which is headlined by senior corner David Garrett and sophomore strong safety Ty Zimmerman. The hope for an instant improvement comes with Arthur Brown, a Wichita native who started out his career at Miami, making 15 tackles in two seasons before transferring back close to home. Brown has been taking on the leadership role for the front seven.
_____The Wildcats schedule is pretty brutal this season. So unless they can pull off a few huge upsets against Oklahoma, Oklahoma State this could be a long season for Coach LooEece. "I feel like the sky is the limit with this team, I'll tell you one thing we'll put some points on the board."
