Re: The WAC is done

Don't see this happening and not because of scheduling. Think of how the business end would react to entire conferences dissolving.

I just don't see it.

Maybe I'm wrong but that is my opinion on why it would not happen.

I was thinking the same thing.

I like the idea, but I don't see how it would work with so many obstacles.

Re: The WAC is done

While I agree that the conferences are probably not fans of dissolving conferences in NCAA 13, I've always thought it was insane that they would care that Little Johnny would dissolve the WAC or even the SEC in his copy of NCAA 13.

It's understandable, though regrettable, that they might not let you kill conferences. But not if a conference actually is being killed in the real world. There will be no more WAC, ergo, users need to be able to kill the WAC. If you can't do something to reflect what is actually known to be happening what is the point of the feature?

Re: The WAC is done

So LA Tech is expected to announce this week (pretty much already knew but) they will be a part of the Conference USA in 2013. I guess the MTN West and Conf USA are trying to get their 12 each for the 24 school merger. LA Tech joining is great for LA Tech as they were out of place in the WAC and they will have a natural rival in Tulane, which is also good for Tulane.
