Re: The WAC is done

This leaves the WAC with only Idaho and NMSU. In other words, they'll need to find four FCSes willing to join WITHIN THE NEXT MONTH or they'll be dissolved. (Not only that, but transitioning programs aren't postseason-eligible their first year...)

Yeah I think they are officially done. I don't see any teams wanting to jump on this sinking ship. Read McMurphy's article from CBS about the WAC and it's history, kind of interesting. I think it's a called "West in Peace".

Glad my Wolf Pack got out, as well as USU, SJSU and La Tech. But C-USA looks good with those additions, the MWC and C-USA should be set for the next few years

I've also heard the "Merger" is dead and that it will just a partnership for bowls. CUSA and Mountain West will be separate entities but yes I do think that these are good survival moves for both conferences.

It's not that they really care, but they are defending their brand. You don't agree to allowing your brand to be detroyed.

The conference realignment was reality and its my opinion the Conferences knew this. No buiseness wants to see itslef go out, in the real world or in the virtual world.

It sounds really fickle to us, but there is real thought behind this that we dont always get to here about.

Yeah, they've always had decent basketball programs. It's sad to see it come to that point after they really had no say in what happened
