The "________ is now in at quarterback" one is the WORST. If I'm going to run wildcat or sneak my scrambling QB in the game, I'd like it to be a surprise at least until the team lines up. Make the defensive user have situational awareness and notice who is back there.

In real life, yes I know, comparing a game to real life, a team who watches weeks of video knows who the running qb and starting qb is. if all of a sudden, they see the running qb come out on the field, the coach is obviously gonna tell his defense to watch the run. yea, an announcer doesnt say it, but a coach would. no suprise.

Hey, Gus Johnson is the man. If he was in the game, I'd buy just to hear him announce. He'd make a Central Michigan vs. Texas Tech game sound like a national championship. LOVE IT!

Ya I agree but sometimes that hurts the experience to because in Madden half the time you gain like 2 yards he acts like you scored a 60 yard run lol... it does get very very stale though in Ncaa with the same stuff we've heard for years and years

Well, idk why they put him in Madden anyways. He's more of a college announcer. Plus, i think college sports are way more fun to watch than pro sports.

The coach already does say it, the play selection screen shows what # the players at each position are and lists who is taking the snap (HB/WR/QB). Do we really need the PA announcer (not even just the TV announcer, PA announcer too) announcing who is in at QB?

It is lazy. You SHOULD be off balance and scrambling at the line of scrimmage to defend something if you didn't take the time to see the personnel in the huddle. That is the whole point of running a series like that, at any level of football.

Re: Please quit announcing if my FG attempt "has the distance"

I'm not sure what console y'all play on but I know for a fact that on the PS3, if the announcer doesn't say it, there is nothing on the playcalling screen that would hint that the backup is in. If they can't implement it on the playcalling screen, I don't see any issue with the announcer saying it.

Maybe on the Xbox things are different because I've been told that the ball bounces other directions other than straight into the endzone on punts, I was doing something wrong.

Maybe I need to switch which console I play NCAA on -- y'all get hints on when the backup is in and the ball bounces other directions on punts. All hail King Xbox

I don't want to get off topic too much, but my ball always bounces straight on xbox.
