Re: Predict your team/player's ratings for NCAA '13

offense:

QB- Mariota or Bryan Bennett- probably 82-85. dont know who EA will make the starter b/c we won't even know until the first game in september. But if it's Mariota probably 80 or 82 (even though he might be the starter and better than Bennett) and BB probably 82-85 since he looked damn good when he played last year.

RB- Barner- atleast somewhere between 90-93 with about 94-95 speed

WR- Huff: about an 84 or 85 really good speed, DAT: 89-94, Vaughn or Hawkins or whoever starts at the 3rd spot: somewhere in the low 80s. As long as the WRs (mainly the big time recruits that we have gotten recently[sumler, blackmon, Kelley, etc.]) have good speed then it doesn't really matter b/c most of our guys are really fast and not true prototypical WRs deserving of really high ratings.

TE- Lyerla: 82-85

Oline-only guy 90 or above is York, everybody else low 80s

Defense:

Dline- 6'7 250 lbs explosive athlete DE Jordan 90 at least, 6'4 325 lbsDT Heimuli- low 80s hasn't lived up to his potential, 6'3 300 lbs DT Kelikippi: low 80s, 6'8 300 lbs 5 star DE Arik Armstead (gonna be a BEAST) but about an 80 as a true freshman but by the middle of the year could be deserving of a rating of 90 or above. Dline could actually be a strength this year and compare to the Dlines of the better SEC teams. But EA won't recognize...

Sr. OLB Clay- guy is a stud, about an 88 like dude on here said

Sr. MLB Alonzo: 6'4 250 yoked out monster with great instincts 88-90 AT LEAST

Jr. OLB Lokombo- 81-84

DB- RS Sophomore T. Mitchell- based on last years performances high 70's to low 80s, not that fast and was always getting burned or Troy Hill (RS So.) about the same rating. although better at coverage. could be better depending on how much better they have gotten over the spring and fall. Would have been really nice to still have Cliffy...

DB- True Sophomore Ifo Ekpre Olomu- about an 80, pretty solid young player.

FS- RS Sr. Boyett 93-94

SS- don't know who it will be ( RS SO Dargan probably) if him then about an 80-82 could be higher by mid season

QB play in the spring game was nothing special. McGloin is penciled in as the guy, but I'm not convinced that Paul Jones isn't better than him and Rob Bolden. I don't think any of them are better than each other, and I wouldn't rate any of them higher than 84 OVR.

The defense Looks stout. I'd expect PSU to win at least 8 games and be a tough out for anyone in the conference.
Yes, Penn State's QB play hasn't been good for awhile now. IMO, it's what's been holding them back from being a top 10 team.

Michigan State
Offense- i think could be C+ to B all the guys that left
Defense- A- or A...pretty sure we only lost maybe 2 or 3 starters....and our defense was really beast last year..
Special Teams- B+

Yeah, it might sound crazy, but I have a lot of faith in Geno this year. I think he will come out and do work with all the hype he got after the orange bowl. i know EA will give him a 90-92 but oh well. Go Braves by the way!
