It's your list man I was just saying lol

I mean I was comparing them to Florida because I know most about them. And Florida had not had a losing record since nearly the same time as Florida State. Florida also had to be a top 2-3 team of the 90's in college football

And if you wanted to compare through the 90's to present Florida has 3 national titles while FSU had just one 1 I believe...

I agree they should both be 8* as both are very even

Haha if we really wanted to get crazy we'd make a formula.

We will never be completely satisfied with it, because everyone perceives things differently and has a different idea of what "prestigious" means.

For example, Notre Dame has been irrelevant for years and , in my eyes and opinion, they're not a 6 star program anymore, yet they're always ranked that way.

Where do you people keep getting one title from? FSU won 2 titles in the 90s.

They also have won 25 bowl games and have 34 consensus all americans. They started playing football in 1947.

By comparison, UF has won 20 bowl games and has 31 consensus all americans, yet have played 41 more years worth of football.

Michigan has won 20 bowls. Notre Dame has won 15. Ohio State has won 19. Oklahoma has won 27.

Good info. I actually didn't think 1 was right, thanks for clearing that up. I don't believe their among the elite historical programs but I'd say 9* on whositz scale.

10* - Oklahoma, USC, Ohio State, Nebraska, Alabama

9* - Notre Dame, Texas, Michigan, Miami (FL)

8* - Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, LSU

7* - UCLA, Washington, Georgia Tech, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Penn State

6* - Ole Miss, BYU, Michigan St, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Iowa, Maryland, TCU, West Virginia, Stanford, Wisconsin, Oregon, Clemson

5* - Missouri, Virginia Tech, Army, Boston College, UNC, Texas Tech, Utah, California, Oklahoma State, Boise St, Arizona State, Colorado

4* - Navy, Houston, Miami (OH), Illinois, Purdue, Louisville, Baylor, SMU, Fresno St, Kansas State, Minnesota

3* - Wyoming, Toledo, Oregon State, Air Force, NC State, Arizona, Rice, Tulsa, Virginia, Southern Miss, Bowling Green, Kentucky, Kansas, San Diego State, Nevada, UCONN, South Carolina, Cincinnati,

2* - Hawaii, San Jose State, Colorado State, Washington State, Central Michigan, Marshall, Northwestern, Mississippi State, Ball State, Troy, ECU, USF, North Texas, Florida Atlantic, UCF, Louisiana Tech, Ohio, Tulane, Utah State, Middle Tennessee, Wake Forest, Western Michigan, Northern Illionois, UNLV, Rutgers, Duke, Indiana

1* - Buffalo, New Mexico, UAB, FIU, Arkansas State, Akron, UL Lafayette, Memphis, UTEP, UL Monroe, Eastern Michigan, Iowa State, Temple, Kent State, New Mexico State, Idaho, Vanderbilt, UMass, South Alabama, Texas-San Antonio, Texas State, and eventually Georgia State.
I'd bump down the U, Nebraska, and Auburn. I'd raise Boise, Texas, and LSU.

Also, if we're going off of the 90s, Wyoming was ranked a few years. They need at least 7*.
