Mine are exactly the same as the OP!

1. UNIS
2. Stadium
3. Team prestige or lack thereof

I like to build a powerhouse not go to established powerhouses!!!

1. Power conference.
2. Variety of uniform options.
3. Style of offense team uses.

Schools I'm considering using in NCAA 13 (assuming, of course, I don't trade-in the game after a week in disgust, like NCAA 12):

Pac 12: Washington State, Colorado, Cal
Big 12: TCU
SEC: Missouri, Arkansas
ACC: Florida State, Virginia Tech
Big 10: Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois
Big East: Rutgers

Re: Deciding on who to do a Dynasty With

After just recently applying and choosing schools, i usually choose schools that i got accepted to

Idaho
Arizona State
Washington State
UNLV

I choose one of those schools first

Then i go off of conference prestige, and then recruiting location.

Usually I choose idaho because i like the black/gold combo. Then i go off of how good they are in the conference, i dont like to choose any powerhouses or any team above 3 stars.

This season i will probably roll with Washington State or Idaho. I attend Northern Arizona University so if there is a pretty accurate CAT i will roll with them.

I will definitely be doing another Minnesota gophers dynasty. Basement team in the big ten, they have a rich history (from the 50's and 60's), lots of rivals with trophies, a beautiful stadium and lots of uni combos especially if they keep the white lids from a couple of years back.

This is a good choice, for the reasons stated.

Trophies: The Little Brown Jug (Michigan), Floyd of Rosedale (Iowa), The Paul Bunyan Axe (Wisconsin).

Nice, new outdoor stadium.

Uniform variety: All yellow alternate, white helmets.

Only school in the state.

I never go powerhouse. I need to earn that right!
I normally roll with Wyoming mainly due to their uni's and nice little stadium.

Seems a nice place lol

I also get drawn to Colorado againn for uni's and great stadium

I'm going to give Miami the death penalty and go from there.

Re: Deciding on who to do a Dynasty With

The following are the program characteristics that I look at:

#1- They can't be on my "hate list"
#2- Must be in a BCS conference
#3- Can't be in the Top 15
#4- 4* prestige or lower
#5- Cool uniforms
#6- Solid stadium
#7- Need to have a couple young guys who are solid, or a couple star seniors

I chose Virginia in NCAA 12 and am still having a blast with them. They fit this criteria pretty well. In five seasons in the ACC I was able to come away with one ACC Championship. I lost my only BCS game appearance.

In year six I mixed up some conference and am now in the SEC. Winning a title in there is going to be difficult.
