Pass commit ???

Can someone explain what this is and how its used ? I run a OLD and want to be able to catch my guys if they are doing it .

It basically means you're guys are expecting a pass. So, they're less likely to bite on playaction fakes, but also going to be slower reacting to running plays.

At least, that's in theory.

It's a defensive hot route so to speak. On the xbox you hold the left trigger as soon as you break the huddle and the mini screen will pop up.

On PS3, I thought you run/pass commit with the right analog stick down/up immediately after the snap.

If you know how to read the offensive guards this can be an amazing tactic to use.
