Re: Why the Infinity Engine is NOT in NCAA

I have no idea why EA continues to neuter NCAA football. You can't have such huge upgrades to Madden than expect people to be excited about NCAA.

See no reason it wouldn't hurt Madden sells. Most people who play NCAA buys Madden anyways. The message they give off is "We are clearly the lesser product, however invest the same amount of money in the inferior product anyways".

No way I can logically justify paying the same amount of money for a game I mostly won't touch after a month when Madden 13 drops.

If this is true than this is a poor allocation of resources for the whole EA umbrella. Both teams should have been working hand in hand to get at least some form of physic in both games. Madden will be a whole different experience while NCAA will be the same game for a third year in a row.

Re: Why the Infinity Engine is NOT in NCAA

Two thoughts, one: they could just push back the release date say, 12 months and they could really shock and awe the NEXT E3 crowd! And two: I firmly believe after reading a large portion of the posts on this(and other) forum, if EA released "Techmo College Bowl: The Retro Experience" people would still buy it cause "its the only college game out there!"

NOT a good enough reason...and to say 'if I don't buy it..." or "WE don't buy it..." it wouldn't matter, thats just BS!

One man, one vote...I plan on voting with my wallet!!!

  • Improved passing game (25 different trajectories, 20+ new drop backs, QB's can now throw on the run, receivers must be looking for the ball in order to attempt a catch);
  • Improved defense (no more psychic db's, defenders will align before the snap more realistically);
  • Dynasty upgrades (recruiting, scouting and substantially upgraded dynasty mode presentation w/live cut ins and the ESPN ticker).
  • Improved audio;
  • At least two new stadiums (North Texas and FAU) plus a new practice facility;
  • updates to existing stadiums;
  • true progressive lighting (updates after every play);
  • motion blur;
  • multiple trophy presentation cut scenes.
  • last but certainly not least, new logos, helmet and field art for my beloved Houston Cougars.
Whether this is enough to warrant a purchase in the absence of RTP is an individual decision. In my case it is, but to each his own.

I swear EA better have different weather effects in dynsasty outside of clear sunshine and heavy rain, I want overcast and the occasional fog and light precip. in the rotation. I'm never letting this go until it happens.

I agree.
I was excited to see fog. But, I didnt realize that there will only be Sunshine and heavy rain.
Having different weather will add some realism to the game.
