Conference prestige question

I know that the prestige is dynamic this year based on the top 6 BCS rankings in the conference. Will this prestige have any effect on the dynasty other than recruiting? What I mean is does the prestige effect bowl bids, BCS rankings, or the coaches poll?

Re: Conference prestige question

Probably not directly, but probably indirectly due to something like strength of schedule.

Re: Conference prestige question

well that's part of the odd thing, because in previous games conference prestige affected poll ranking

so say, Miami, Florida, Ohio State, USC, Texas and Rutgers all finished the season 12-0

no matter what the rankings would be

#1 Florida
#2 OSU
#3 Texas
#4 USC
#5 Miami
#6 Rutgers

so now the rankings affect conference prestige which affect rankings?

That's what I'm questioning, it seems like a conflict if it is the same as b4.

Seems pretty accurate and realistic to me. A 1 loss SEC team is much better than a team undefeated from either of those conferences impersonating BCS leagues.

Re: Conference prestige question

I hope it does - as it'll make it much more realistic for those who greatly alter the conference landscape (either through moves or going deep into franchises).

A 1 loss SEC team should not be ranked ahead of an undefeated ACC conference team. No matter how you feel about the conference it just shouldn't happen.
