If players leave school early (say after their sophomore year) THAT WOULD REALLY SUCK! Imagine only having your star player for two season and never knowing what type of pro career he would have.

Damn EA. You really F'd the dog on this one. smh
Players can only leave junior year early in the game(i never saw a sophomore leaving for the pros)

That always been in the game, and you can always convince them to stay.

In our OD you can only RS true FR so none of them RSed their SO years.

Players leaving early is extremely dependent on stats so SOs that have huge years are more likely to leave early. With my play style I spread the passes to 5 WRs and TES and HBs and on the ground (I run a spread option attack) I spread the carries between a QB, 3-4 HBs, and 2-3 WRs so I rarely have anyone leave early as I rarely have anyone put up big numbers.

Re: Are player going to leave school early?

I think my problem with players leaving early is three-fold:

1) Some teams, especially user teams, have a disproportionate amount of players leaving early. The year after my first year National Championship with Nebraska, I had 14 players try and leave early. Including Taylor Martinez, who has as much a future in the NFL as I do. The players leaving logic just leaves a lot to be desired.

2) In Online Dynasty's, players leaving does not consistently work. There were a number of occasions last year where it simply would not save during players leaving and the user lost guys he had talked back. One time it allowed me to talk a guy back, exit and save; go back in, talk another back, exit and save and repeat UNTIL I got to a player that wanted to transfer. It would never save.

3) Players leaving is predetermined. I didn't want to believe this at first, until I tested it in my OD. It doesn't matter how many minutes you initially give someone, it is predetermined what he will do. I would start a guy with 10 minutes, he'd make me call twice for a total of 20 minutes and leave. I quit the game to PSN, loaded back up, called the same guy with 60 minutes, he'd make me call twice for a total of 120 minutes and leave. Opposite was true for guys staying. I offered 60 minutes to a guy to stay, he did. Exit out to PSN, loaded back up, offered 10 minutes to a guy to stay, he did.

It may not be absolute, but I never saw any other variations.
