Notre Dame Ratings

i just finished recreating ND with accurate rosters, numbers are correct aside from Carlisle (unknown because he was #3, but given to frosh WR). All heights and weights are correct, most of which were not touched. Was hoping if someone could take a look at the ratings i've adjusted and tell me if these are more accurate or pure homerism as i plan on using these for my dynasty. Adjusted speeds for most players, as well as some of their core ratings i.e. Dan Fox (cover guy) has better coverage ratings where as Carlo Calabrese (run stopper) has the better tackling and block shedding ratings, but the two have similar overalls. If you guys wouldn't mind telling me what you think that would be great.

Re: Notre Dame Ratings

devonte neal an 82? how is the 17th overall receiver rated an 82?

DGB is only an 82 and was the number 1 prospect. drae bowles for ut was the 20th ranked receiver and gets a 73.

i know ea put devonte at an 81 to start, which is too high to begin with.

crazy how much attention ea gives to some recruits while completely missing half of other teams classes. makes no sense.

roster editing is so much fun, always find it hard myself not to get carried away with tennessee's freshmen lol...cant wait till friday, thursday if im lucky.

I'm a huge ND fan and I agree with you. He was 8 overall on ESPN, but it's ESPN. I see him in the 77-79 range.

Re: Notre Dame Ratings

I think you might have Bennett Jackson high too. Hes largely unproven and to be an 87 without proving himself is quite high. Hes hardly played at ND. Shumate should come in a bit higher as i believe he will be a beast, but thats purely opinion based.

Neal is a bit high, maybe an 80. Its also spelled Davonte instead of Devonte, or so i thought, haha. Riddick needs a K at the end. Both Davaris Daniels and John Goodman are a bit high too. Neither has proven anything. If anything, Goodman has proved that he won't play to his talent level.

Chase Hounshell needs the N in his name. I've never heard of Spond before this spring. Maybe a bit of a high rating there as well.

No Will Mahone, Luke Massa, or Jake Golic?

Overall a nice roster though. Would you mind if I downloaded it?

most of those spelling mistakes are pretty bad, can't believe i screwed those up. The only one on purpose was Riddick because of the filter, so i just drop that. As for Massa, Golic and Mahone:
Massa: blew out his ACL in the spring, and will never contribute at WR in my opinion, i felt more obligated to add Chris Brown the frosh instead of him
Golic: will not see the field, just a legacy player.
Mahone: he was a different story all together. it was between him and KaeVarie for the last HB slot since they are both arriving now. I chose KaeVarie because i like his speed a little better, and to me he is a bit more versatile, plus he may move to corner so i gave him those ratings as well.

Now for the WR's and CB's, i wasn't quite sure how to rate them because they are all pretty bad, and inexperienced (i wasn't even comfortable giving TJ Jones an 85). and i completely missed B. Jackson, going back now to fix those positions, along with Danny Spond, who should be a back-up to Councell

Is it really neccesary to have two front page Notre Dame ratings topics?

Re: Notre Dame Ratings

Roster Update**
spelling corrected for: Davonte Neal, Chase Hounshell
Rating Adjusting:
TJ Jones: 85->83 (catching and catch in traffic)
John Goodman 84->81 (still feels a little high, but most of his catch ratings are in the 60's. its 81 because of speed and awareness)
Davarius Daniels 84->81 (adjusted awareness, route running, catch in traffic and catching)
Roby Toma 82->79 (catch ratings)
Davonte Neal 82->79 (catch ratings and awareness)
Bennett Jackson 87->81 (awareness and coverage ratings)
Josh Atkinson 81->78 (awareness and coverage ratings)
Lo Wood 80->77 (coverage ratings and press rating)
Jalen Brown 75->72 (coverage ratings)
Danny Spond 85->78 (tackle, hit power and block shedding)
Ben Councell 84->81 (awareness)

was it necessary for you to post in this thread? one is who one guy thinks he should start at QB, this is me editing ND to try and get a better and more accurate rating than EA, without being a homer, Thanks for adding to the discussion
