I think it is awfully easy to carry off that philosophy when you happen to root for a perennial powerhouse.

I root for KU. I always take them in both online and offline dynasties. But it's not exactly fun to be forced to be an 30 point underdog in every online game.

I may roll with WVU or TCU since they are new to the Big 12. Depending on how Okie State is rated, they may get some games. Otherwise, I will grab teams that I've got some interest watching each week.

But truthfully, I don't spend too much time playing randoms. My friends and I will roll two, and maybe three OD's. We will take powerhouses in one, limit you to 2* programs in another. Anything to keep the game somewhat fresh.

We get enough quality head-to-head play that way.

agreed, stick with your team regardless of how they are rated. not to say i wont use other teams from time to time just to experiment, but to only play with a highly rated team just to get on a leaderboard of cheesers seems hollow to me. then again i havent played a ranked match in probably a couple years.

Never used a team other than my Clemson Tigers. We're rated pretty well this year(perhaps even overrated) so it should be fun. Great group of WRs, decent HBs, good QB, but meh offensive line with a decent defense.
