User catching deep routes?

Has anyone noticed when running a receiver deep and you pick him up for a user catch, whether wide open or a DB is still over the top, a lot of the time he doesnt make a play on the ball when you hit catch/dive?

At first I thought I was just overthrowing and the receiver wouldnt make the play because it was uncatchable but even as my passing got better, the receiver still wouldnt attempt to catch it. In most deep passes, I've noticed the receiver literally has to be right on top of the catch target to make a play on the ball. Even in overthrown passes, they would normally still throw their hands up in a catch attempt but that is never the case.

You are 100 percent correct!! Delete it and it will work. Tuner update had my gameplay all out of whack

I must be in a different world. Whenever I try to catch on a deep route, I either catch it or attempt to and drop it/tackle and drop/DB tries for it and drop/INT.
