How to make NCAA 13 play in 1080p

From what I've read, games that are on both consoles are presented in 720p/1080i because the first generation of 360's do not have an HDMI port. Games that are exclusive to PS3 will always have 1080P compatability because of the neccesity of an HDMI cable.

I just bought and HDMI cable and it started to play in 1080P.

HA ... did not know that the Show was exclusive to PS3. I wonder why it isn't though. Maybe that's something I read relevant to only EA's games.

It is something I looked into a few years ago. I have a badass 60" Aquos that I've never been able to get any game other than exclusive titles to display in 1080P. 1080i yeah, but that's the nearly the same as 720P.

I haven't opened NCAA13 yet, so it would be quite a treat if it displayed in 1080P.

If you have a true 1080p tv then it will pick 1080p and all your games will play in that resolution. Does it mean the games are being displayed in true 1080P? NO because the games are made in 720p resolution and other times less but it upscales it since the xbox has one of the best upscaler chips

This cannot be done on the ps3 since if you choose 1080p then you are making the ps3 buffer lower then 720p in most games due to the fact that the game is not made in 1080p. The ps3 lacks the upscaler chip that the 360 has

Anybody who tells you that they forced 1080p and it looks much better then 720p is either crazy or just do not know the difference between both and feel that the higher amount listed means it looks better when in reality it does not

If you have Fifa soccer then try and force 1080p and see that it will force 480p instead.

On xbox it will do upscale 1080p on any game

the exclusives to ps3 are not 1080p they are just buffered and not true 1080p

I think there might be a game or two that defaults to 1080p but i am highly skeptical that it does true 1080p and it is just buffered
