Why is the ball sticking to my QB's hand when I try to pitch? His arm will be extended with the ball at the end of it and then he gets tackled.

I've stopped using the option because it happen so much.

There no more pitching mid tackle it seems. Doesn't really matter, because the defender normally still hits the QB when you pitch it early anyway, so it's not like they leave the QB to go for the HB/WR getting the pitch.

Also not being a smartass, but are you hitting the correct button?

I don't think it's a problem from my experience with the game this year it feels like you have to have more knowledge of the option play to run it effectively, in past years players would simply pitch the ball as the QB was going to the ground and the ball would pop out in a very unrealistic manner. IMO the overall feel of running the option is different, I feel like it requires more skill than luck to be good at running the option in NCAA 13.

It's not a problem. I'm glad they've changed it this year so you can no longer pitch it if you are getting hit, or a split second from getting hit. It was crazy the last few years to be able to pitch perfectly when being tackled already. You've just got to be quicker with your decision to pitch.

Its not too bad but I noticed a few issues.

1) Defenders still manage to magically change focus to RB despite being on a collision course with the QB

2) There is still a bit of suction tackling that makes well timed pitches ineffective.

Not to mention the blocking on option plays is terrible. If it isn't downhill blocking, the AI cant handle it.
