Looking for a team high in tradition who have fallen on hard times

I'd say look back to the Early 2000's or way earlier in the century and see how the top 25 looked back then and pick a school that you'd like to bring up. Also one that would be a challenge Oklahoma State look at the competition they face year after year and recruiting competion. Personally I'd also go for Marshall. Look at it they came from the bottom of almost having no program and coming to the top of Division II to being a FCS team which could've won a championship with Randy Moss and Chad Pennington and even Byron Leftwich. I'm a Canes fan and I can't stand playing in sun life stadium so I always be other schools. Another school that would be tough especially recruiting wise Pittsburgh and Syracuse would be solid to be as well dome advantage and you have a good fan base. Good luck on choosing I should have my copy tonight and I'm gonna start one with a lower ranked school btw my brothers playing NCAA 11 and he's UL Lafayatte and he's undefeated and just got into the rankings lol.

Give Illinois a try. I know most of you probably don't know this but Illinois used to have a great football program. 15 Big Ten Titles, 5 National Championships (1914, 1919, 1923, 1927 and 1951), and 5 Rose Bowl appearances. Plus we haven't been that bad this last decade. Bring us back to glory.
