ESPN bottomline noth showing up.

Has anyone else had this problem or am I the only one? The TV I've been using for NCAA 13 is a plasma, roughly 47". Is there anyhting to do about it? Thanks in advance.

Re: ESPN bottomline noth showing up.

How are you connecting to your tv?

HDMI?

SVGA?

I guess SVGA, I don't have the HDMI cord for the Xbox. Is that what makes the difference?

Could be that. But what type of Xbox do you have? I think people have had problems before with the 4GB. Something about the hardrive space being too low maybe? I just turned 40 a few months back, my memory is shoddy, so don't hold me to that assessment.

If you set your Xbox console to "Widescreen" (should be in the system settings), the ticker should show up properly. No HDMI cable is necessary.

I'm on the PS3 and half of it is cut off. I have a 56" HDTV and the bottom line looks fine when I'm watching ESPN.

It's pretty annoying, but I don't see any way to fix it.

Re: ESPN bottomline noth showing up.

An HDMI cable is not necessary as long as you have the cable components that pump out HD to your TV. I have a couple tube tvs and it would not allow me to choose widescreen when I set it up that way. My XBOX does not even have the HDMI slot it is so old, but I am able to get HD through the cable components it came with when I bought it 7 years ago. That would be the RED GREEN AND BLUE cables.
