Trying to user catch

Is anyone having issues with user catches? I'm trying to mess around on RTG and I am a corner back and he rarely tries to intercept a pass when I try to user catch. A lot of issues with the gameplay and the full concept of the mode, but as a gameplay issue it is extremely irritating since i can never even attempt to pick off a pass.

I am also struggling with this big time. Ill be holding triangle and my WR just continues running and the ball lands at his feet, extremely frustrating.

I also try to hit Y to intercept the ball and more often then not the guy doesn't put his hands up for the pick. Has started happening with swat too. I'll press LB and the player will never put his hand up to swat. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

You guys aren't doing anything wrong...the swat and intercept button rarely works this year. I cant believe they aren't going to patch this.

Makes the passing game suffer immensely. How can they make the improvements they did but screw this up?

the crap isn't even RESPONSIVE this year! turrible game! Just bad! I was a consistent top 200 gamer in this game last year, but I hate this game!
