Downloading to Hard Drive

I always DL to my hard drive for these exact reasons. This game has frozen on me once (in Dynasty).

on 360, you can install games on the hard drive so you don't have to use the disc. you still need to own the game though, as it is required to start the game, but after it does the disc check, the disc is not used. so it becomes like most disc based PC games.

the install is an optional feature on 360. I don't know for sure, the initial 'install' on PS3 doesn't install the entire game to the hard drive, so the disc is still required. It has been a long time since I used a PS3 though.

So far none of my games have frozen up (I know lucky right) But the load times are horrible even though it gives me time to grab a beer or 3 but since the 1st patch is on the way the 31st im just gonna wait & see how that goes

Downloading to the hard drive has not stopped the freezing issue.
