What is Wrong with Coach Prestige?

I have a feeling the prestiege is a straight rank based on an over simple formula. Something like this:

(Total goals completed - Total goals failed)+(Current season goals completed - Current season goals failed) I'm sure win total and conf champ and bowl winner also factor in too.

So if you complete all single season goals in year 1 you should keep a high prestiege. But after year 2 since you don't have any more single season goals you take a slight hit.

Keep in mind you are also against every other coach in the game. If presitege is based off a ranking system based on a formula like the one above then it is understandable (but not acceptable) that you can go from an A+ on yr 2 while winning a NC to falling to a B at the beginning of the following season.
