It's not a defect. You have to change your sub in/out number. Once a HB starts running the ball, he will never be %100 again in that game.

Also, what is your HBs stamina? That has alot to do with it as well.

Mine are 84/85 and it didn't work in my game. Took my top two RBs out and lost the game because I didn't have them. So it wasn't the auto subs in my game, but I don't know what else.

Unless each of your RBs were fatigued below 84. If you are running every play and playing with longer quarters, it's possible. If it happens again, try setting your HB sub to something even lower. You could try 50/55 just to see if it puts them back in.

One way to avoid this is to rotate your HBs throughout the game. Alternate between one and the other using substitution packages, or run plays where they only have to block.
