CPU always going for it on 4th down

It seems to me that the CPU only actually kicks a field goal if they're in the red zone. I just had the CPU go for it on 4th and 5 from the 21...easily field goal range. Is there some sort of setting or preference to change for the CPU so they don't always go for it when they're too close to punt?

Edit: CPU FG power is set to 50 on my sliders, as well. So that shouldn't have anything to do with it.

I noticed it on Heisman. The CPU often tries ridiculously long field goals yet chooses to go for it when in easy field goal range.

Could you tell me what team you were against?, & Could you check the team's Coaches Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, & Head Coach Aggressiveness for Offense.

Yeah, it bothers me when they do it. It's like playing online. But when you actually stop them, it feels good! I have also seen quite a few fake punts and 9 out of 10 they work for the CPU.
