Playing Clock Issue

Anyone notice that when a ball is caught out of bounds the clock runs on the next play as soon as the ball is spotted? How can EA botch this???

Re: Playing Clock Issue

Like how the clock stops on out-of-bounds plays in FIFA games even though it doesn't in real life - just one of those EA mysteries.

Did it last year too.

Re: Playing Clock Issue

Somebody doesn't know college football rules. ROFL.

The clock only stops on out of bounds plays for as long as it takes the referee to decide to start it again. Generally, after the offense is fully lined up. UNLESS its within the last TWO MINUTES of the first and second half. THEN and ONLY THEN will going out of bounds stop the clock until the next snap of the ball. I thought people here were college football fans? How do you not know this?

These are the same type of people who complain until they are blue in the face about how horrible of a game this is and stuff like that. Some people are just clueless when it comes to how football is actually played and the rules that are implemented to the game.

However speaking of rules... i guess the NCAA moved touchbacks to the 25?? cause ive noticed taking a knee puts me at the 25 now.. must be new this year

That's correct. Kickoffs are from the 35 yard line now, and touchbacks on kickoff returns go to the 25 yard line. For punts its still the 20.

When a CB leads a WR on a crossing route in real life and then leads the cut as well.....
When a pulling G decides to block a FS 20 yards down the field and let the crashing LB run by them.....
When the CPU QB can stay in the pocket and simply throw a ball 30 yards sideways out of bounds with no intentional grounding......
Yadda Yadda Yadda...

There are other issues that legitimize people's cause for concern with the game.

But you understand that his issue was with the play clock doing what it was supposed to do correct?
